The Global Whine Cooler for Women
The Global Whine Cooler for Women
I must admit, I don't get it. I understand this is supposed to be "a global water cooler for women," which might be a definition worth define, but what is the ultimate problem with a man on this site? Please someone give me an argument that makes some sense.
The reason I am saying this is I received one private inquiry from a very nice man who asked if it is solely a woman's blog. He seems like a great guy and in my opinion, a welcome addition. Am I missing something? What is the mystique and comfort that can only take place around the confines of other females? I totally appreciate promoting women, god knows I've spent enough years listening to good ol' boys tell me I'm not ready for the corner office, but I for one never came to this site because it was solely for women. It was after I posted something that I saw the water cooler thing. I have to admit, it sort of pisses me off. We talk about acceptance, love, and compassion and then act as if the only people who possess these qualities are females. I know this might anger some, in which I offer apologies, but acting as if we need this type of promotion is like we are a disabled group. We are people, male and female, who have a passion to write. Please help me out on this.
